The Process of Live Edge honors nature, for growing magnificent trees that we enjoy for their beauty , grandure, and inspiration. We remember them as place to climb, swing from and make memories around. The forces of nature may one day cause those memories to fall.

The forces of nature may one day cause those trees and memories to fall. But we dont have to loose them forever. We have a way to bring them back into our lives.

At urban lumber we look to take those fallen emblems and give them a new life, Interpreting the tree though the grain, shape, living edge structure and even the history of the tree. Each tree has a story and Urban Lumber Designs attempt to incorporate as much of trees history as we can into the future of th furniture that we create from it's lumber.  All trees are local within a 100 mile radius of the Philadelphia Area, and are hopefull to stay within that region. 

We can make them apart of our lives again, we can revolve around them just as we did when we climbed them as children.  We can grow around them once again.
